National Iranian South Oil Company by assigning Tarh O Palayesh Engineering co. as  basic engineering designer for Kabud oilfield production increase project, intends to increase Kabud and Ghale-Naar Oil production up to 12,000 BPD in order to avoid associated gas burning and also desalting and sweetening oil. For early product achievement, project divided to 2 phases. In Phase 1 Wellhead facilities, pipelines and developing units are considered. Oil desalting and sweetening for all Kabud and Ghale-Naar Oil products performs in phase 2. For this purpose, following facilities are considered:

Project scope of work

  • Pumps renovation in Kabud separation facilities (KSF)
  • 20 km Gas pipeline from Kabud separation facilities to Ghale-Naar compressor station (KGT)
  • 20,000 BPD desalting and 42,000 BPD sweetening unit (GDU)
  • Waste water injection pipeline from Ghale-Naar desalting unit to Injection well (GDT)
  • Utilities (power and water) for Desalting unit (GPS & GWS)
