In order to export 450 MMSCFD lean gas to Kuwait, the required gas will be supplied from the sixth Iran Gas Trunk-Line (IGAT-6) in Goreh. Next, the gas will be transferred via a 30” pipeline to Iran Compressor Station (ICS) facilities near the Bahregan oil facilities. The compressed and metered gas from ICS will be exported by an underground/offshore pipeline to Ras Al-Zour port in Kuwait in Persian Gulf. Finally, the gas will be delivered to Kuwait gas metering station. Conceptual studies, basic engineering & preparation of B.O.O tender documents have been performed by T.O.P. Engineering Co.

Project scope of work

  • 6 Electrical main substations (132/33 kV) – by Fulmen
  • 40 Km electrical overhead transmission line (double circuit 132 kV) from Assalouyeh power plant to 6 mentioned substations – by Tarrah Gostran Pooya
  • 62 Electrical distribution substations (33/0.4kV) – bu Nasb Niroo
  • Supply of 34 transformers 132/33 kV and 33/0.4 with the capacity of 50 MVA and 15 MVA.- By Iran Transfo.
